One of those “Oh yes!” moments.

feet smallThere I was, happily writing a funeral feast for 1322, when I had one of those “OH YES!” ideas. Cue a fair amount of backtracking through what was already written to build the basis for this little side-plot. I love it when things like this happen; they make writing the joy that it is.
In other news, I’m hoping to have rough sketches of the major characters for you to look at soon. I wanted them mainly as a visualisation aid when writing, but there’s no reason that you shouldn’t see them too.
Oh, and I’m sketching one of the locations from the book too. This has served to show me how truly awful is my drawing at times. This last may not see the light of day, though I might put it in the Special Edition of 1322 when it is finally published.

About wombat37

A Yorkshireman in the green hills of Lancashire, UK Not a real wombat, obviously, or typing would become an issue. I do have short legs and a hairy nose, however. Oh, & a distinctive smell.
